Girls madrasah jalsahs

Q: I wanted to know whether it is permissible for a girls madressah to have jalsa when the girls graduate in their final year. The jalsah will consist of a nasheed sang by the girls, a play, a qiraat read etc.
A: We discourage girls jalsahs, and all the more girls singing nasheeds etc. The fitnah of the time is no more a secret. People are unscrupulous. These nasheeds are recorded and then all types of people listen to them. And this is the point where fitnah starts and commences. A madrasah is established to propagate the truth, not to propagate fitnah and corruption.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
