Correct way of reciting Durood Ebrahim

Q: What is the correct way of reciting solatul-ibrahim?

A: In the last qa'dah of salaah, after reciting tashahhud, it is sunnah to recite durood upon Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). One may recite any durood, however, the preferred durood to be recited in the last qa'dah is the Durood-e-Ebrahim (solatul-ibrahim). The Durood-e-Ebrahim is as follows:

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ

اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلٰى اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
