Meaning of Ilaah
Q: Allah is god of everything, does it mean that Allah is god over Islam and every religion?
A: The meaning of Ilaah is not god, it is the only being who is worthy of worship. When we say 'Allah', we refer to a being who has all attributes of perfection and is free of all kinds of deficiencies. Hence, He is the one who has blessed mankind with Islam and it is the way that He has approved, sanctioned and declared. There is no other way. All other ways are either fabricated or ways that have expired.

إِنَّ الدّينَ عِندَ اللَّـهِ الإِسلـٰمُ ۗ وَمَا اختَلَفَ الَّذينَ أوتُوا الكِتـٰبَ إِلّا مِن بَعدِ ما جاءَهُمُ العِلمُ بَغيًا بَينَهُم ۗ وَمَن يَكفُر بِـٔايـٰتِ اللَّـهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ سَريعُ الحِسابِ (ال عمران: 19)
