Attributing bad to Allah Ta'ala

Q: My question is, good and bad are from Allah, so can we say that Allah is the god of good and bad because he is the god of everything?

A: Though Allah Ta'ala is the creator of everything in the world, whether good or bad, however, out of respect for Allah Ta'ala, we do not attribute bad to Allah Ta'ala. Rather, we attribute bad to its apparent and direct cause, e.g. we say that the person passed away through the accident, even though the accident occurred by the will of Allah Ta'ala.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
