Organizing a ladies soccer tournament
Q: A Muslim organisation recently organised a ladies and girls soccer tournament. Please advise what is the Shar'i stance for such tournaments,, more so for females.
A: It is unfortunate that people are retrogressing into ignorance, into the dark. They do not take out the time to understand deen, and if they claim to be learning then with glasses of westernism and secularism. So they see it as they want to see it, like how christianity and westernism want to see Islam. A woman's place is much more lofty. Understand what Allah wants from her and you will never go wrong. The understanding comes through the guidance of righteous people who are dedicated to deen with the right understanding of deen and no false agendas.
