Q: What answer do I give to a person who asks "What gives Allah the right to judge us?"
A: What gives you the right to judge Allah Ta`ala? He has all the right, while you are just an insignificant creature amongst His creatures. You are totally dependent on Allah Ta`ala for your existence and continuity.
He has created you and every faculty in you. So you do not own yourself; He owns you entirely. So when He owns you entirely, He has all the right to do as He pleases.
Just as you would consider it your right to do as you please in your wealth and property and you will not appreciate any type of interference, whereas your wealth also belongs to Allah Ta`ala, then Allah Ta`ala does not appreciate this kind of intrusion in His property. Think about these facts and you will clear your mind from all contamination and confusion.
