Imaan of a person who denies mi'raaj

Q: If a person denies Mi'raaj being bodily, does he become a kaafir because it's mutawaatir?

A: One is the israa, israa is the journey from the Haram of Makkah Mukarramah to Baytul Muqaddas. This is proven from the Quraan Shareef, and rejecting this is rejecting the Quraan Shareef. And rejecting the Quraan Shareef amounts to disbelief. The journey from Baytul Muqaddas to the samaa-e-dunya is proven through khabar-e-mash-hoor. Rejecting it is bid`at and dhalaal. And the journey from the samaa-e-dunya onwards is proven through khabar-e-waahid. Rejecting it is fisq. (Fatawa Mahmoodiyah)

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
