Giving a translation of the Quraan to a non-Muslim who is interested in Islam

Q: Is it permissible to give a translation of the Quraan to a non-Muslim who is interested in Islam, even though he cannot be assumed to be in the state of wudhu?

A: Do not give him the Quraan as he is impure. We suggest that you give him some Islamic literature to read so that he may understand the message of Islam. You may give him the book, "What is Islam" written my Moulana Manzoor Numaani.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
