Judging people according to their ibaadaat

Q: My cousin is a Hafiz Alhamdulillah. He is pious but he wont do any Tabligh work. He wont tell people to pray or to leave out sins. He leads Taraweeh every year and he is busy in his life. My other cousin is a doctor. He is also pious Alhamdulillah he does Tabligh work with his doctor profession.

My question is, on the Day of Qiyamah, whose status will be higher; this doctor who is doing Tabligh or this Hafiz?

A: Leading the Taraweeh Salaah in the month of Ramadaan is a great ibaadat and doing dawat and tableegh among the Muslims is also an action that is greatly rewarding. However, whose reward is more and whose position is higher, this is known best to Allah Ta'ala. It is not at all correct for any person to try and work out whose position is greater in the sight of Allah Ta'ala as Allah Ta'ala alone is the judge and not the creation. Therefore, you should be more concerned about your own reformation and emulate people in the good works that you see them involved in.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
