Marrying a Christian woman and watching her being baptized

Q: Can a Muslim man make nikah with a second wife who is a Christian woman and then go to the church and watch her being baptised. Is this kind of marriage valid and accepted in Islam?

A: It is because of these types of reasons that our ulama have condemned marriages with Christians. At the time that they were allowed the Muslims were in areas and places where the Muslims and Islam were very strong and those Christian women would be gradually attracted to Islam and become true in their faith. On the other hand, if this is going to be the attitude today, he will join her being baptised and he will be enjoying and be happy with her kufr. And being happy with kufr and disbelief is also an act of disbelief. May Allah Ta`ala save us.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
