Purchasing meat from a Jewish or Christian shop

Q: Is it allowed to buy meat from any shop, whether it is a Jewish store or a Christian store, or eating in a restaurant?

A: It is only permissible for a believer to eat the meat that is slaughtered by a Muslim who had taken the name of Allah Ta'ala at the time of slaughtering and had slaughtered the animal according to the sharee procedure of slaughtering. Jews and Christians do not adhere to the sharee procedure of slaughtering. Hence, the meat slaughtered by Christians and Jews is haraam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
