Crossing the bridge of Siraat with ease
Q: What are the deeds and wazifas or duas by authentic hadeeth to ease our path on the Pul Sirat on the day of judgement?
A: One of the main things is to ensure that your namaaz is done on time, doing postures correctly and reading the namaaz gently.
Secondly, be very careful with the use of the tongue and all means of communication. Ensure that there is no gossip, carrying tales or getting yourself involved in things that are vain and useless. See that you are talking about things that are true, honest and verified as well as whether they are useful.
Thirdly, stay away from anything that has to do with immodesty.
Fourthly, make dua after every fardh namaaz that Allah Ta`ala helps you in this life and in all trials of the next life.
Being a good asset to your household and seeing to their comfort is also very much liked by Allah Ta`ala.
