Age of menopause

Q: What is the cut off age of menopause? After that age will she regard that haid as istihadha? Will that age be according to her Islamic age?
A: Generally, the Fuqahaa regard 55 lunar years as the age of menopause, unless a woman experiences normal bleeding after this age. In that case, the bleeding will be regarded as haidh.
