Dream

Q:

  1. Today I had a dream that my mum and me are going somewhere and there is a graveyard on the way. My mum says she wants to recite Surah faatiha on someone's grave and we enter the graveyard. Mum recites faatiha and I recited surah fatiha and surah ikhlas on the grave and then put some flowers on the grave. What does it mean?
  2. I want to ask what does it mean to see yourself as a bride in a dream?

Waswasas with regards to ghusal

Q: I am suffering from so much waswasas. I can't handle it I think I am always napaak. When I perform ghusl after I think I having done it right I don't know if all the hairs have got wet on the body. Could you explain to me a way that you would do it so every hair on the body gets wet so the ghusl counts because I think all my salaahs are not getting counted as well and this is really getting to me. It's on my head 24 hours a day I keep having a shower like 3/2 times a day because I think every time I do ghusl its not correct. I need your help

The standard by Allah

Q: I am asking these questions on behalf of somebody else who says he has issues about the age of Aaisha radi Allahu `anhaa when the marriage was consummated amongst other things.

These are his questions, (would be grateful if answered):

QUOTE "Ok, I agree that may be helpful:

1) What is the definition(s) of a "child" in the Shari'ah?

2) What is the definition(s) of "child abuse" in the Shari'ah?

3) What rights that a child has under the Shari'ah?

4) What is the definition(s) of a Guardian (Wali) in the Shari'ah?

5) Who can be the Guardian (Wali) of a female child? Is there a difference for male children?

6) What rights does a Guardian (Wali) have over the female child? Is there a difference for male children?

7) What are the responsibilities that a Guardian has towards the child? What practical provisions does the Shari'ah set in place to ensure that the Guardian is fulfilling these responsibilities?

8) What are the responsibilities that a female child has towards the guardian? What practical provisions does the Shari'ah set in place to ensure that the Guardian is fulfilling these responsibilities?

9) Please give Shari'ah definition(s) of a marriage contract and what does it mean when someone has entered into a marriage contract? What would have to take place to have the marriage contract annulled?

10) Are there any valid Shar'i opinions from the 4 major Mathaahib that state that a Guardian/Wali may marry of a female under his guardianship without their consent?

If these are answered I'll have a few more questions based upon the answers of these questions. I put definition with a bracketed 's' indicating that I would like to know all valid opinions on these matters, not just the opinions of a single mathab, maslak, etc." QUOTE

Nikaah of an intoxicated person

Q: Would the nikah of an intoxicated person who was not in his senses be valid?

Mazi problem

Q: I have 2 questions regarding performing Umrah and having Mazi leaking out and wearing the tissue.

1. After visiting the bathroom I wrap a tissue around my private part (I usually tie a rubber band or string to keep tissue there) to ensure any drops that come out, if any, does not touch my clothes. I also wear a tissue sometimes during the day as I see mazi coming out at different times.

a. Whilst in ihraam and performing umrah if mazi comes out and touches the ihraam what must be done? (To be honest if mazi does come out, it is usually a very very small amount)

b. Is it permissible to wear the tissue after visiting the bathroom whilst wearing ihraam? (not whilst performing umrah but just wearing the ihraam)(I usually tie a rubber band or string to keep tissue there).

2. The other day I was given the opportunity of leading the Asr SalaahBefore I went to the Salaah room I stopped at the bathroom to wash my Private Area to ensure that there is no Mazi present etc. After performing salaah I went back to the bathroom to ensure no mazi or any fluid has come out, and did not see any fluid. However I did see something very small (like a dot) inside my private part which could've been toilet paper(from maybe earlier on in the day) or even a thread from my underwear or something else. I can't be too sure but it was very small or tiny and was solid looking not liquid. Please advise if this, what I had seen after performing salaah, affects my salaah in any way?

Time of Esha Salaah

Q: Nowadays we use a prayer time chart but we hear from Darul Uloom Deobond that this is not accurate and they quote a hadith that for calculating the time of Esha salah we have to calculate the time difference between the rising and setting of the moon in every 3rd day of the current lunar month. Suppose the difference is 1 hr 47 minute then Esha will be 1 hr 47 minuets after Magrib for the same complete month and the process will continue. What is the truth?
