Renting out one's premises to someone who will be conducting a haraam business

Q: I came across a fatwa regarding renting out ones premises to someone who will be conducting a haraam business such as a bar or a bank being haraam as Allah says do not help one another in sin.

A brother sent me another fatwa from islamqa.org where they say its permissible as per Abu Hanifa (rahimahullah) as the sin of haraam is on them. So is it a valid difference of opinion and can I choose the one that suits me?

They say that non Muslims can trade in alcohol or interest amongst themselves so the ayah is referring to not supporting others in sin between Muslims only as there is no birr and taqwa for non Muslims. And since someones sin cannot be transferred to you then you are not responsible for what they do. Same as non-Muslim renting a house and you are not responsible for what sins they commit in the house. So can I just pick the one that suits me?

Accountant taking out a portion of his wealth and giving it to the poor for recording interest transactions

Q: If I work in an accounting environment where interest and insurance etc. will be recorded and calculated, will the tax I pay on my salary be enough to purify my income or should I take out a certain percentage every month as a way of purifying my wealth from Haraam and doubtful?

Accepting fuel allowance for a month from a company even if one does not require it

Q: If a person is under employment (working for someone) and fuel allowance is also included in the contract (given in cash), however, if a month/week comes wherein the employee has enough fuel in the vehicle and therefore, for that particular month/week, he feels that he doesn’t need the fuel, should he still accept the cash or not, because it is in the contract?

Company outsourcing its employees to an Islamic Bank

Q: I am outsourced in an Islamic Bank in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Is my salary halal or haram? It if it is halal, then how much good or bad it is for my eternal life i.e. life after death, to work in an Islamic Bank?

My company, which outsourced me in the Islamic Bank is a big Information Technology Company and have outsourced about 15 more employees in the same Islamic Bank. These employees (my colleagues) are working for software development; and develop and test different software portals and websites for the same Islamic Bank. My responsibility is to develop software portals for different services of covered cards and sukuk bonds etc. to be used by bank employees (mainly operations’ department employees). Please provide your opinion and fatwa in this regards.

Secondly, the same Islamic Bank has given a 1000 AED gift voucher of amazon.com to each of my team members, to show the gratitude towards the successful completion of the projects. Is it halal for me to utilize this gift voucher to purchase items for my home?

Employee not honouring an agreement made when starting employment

Q:

1. If an employer insists that the employee must join remotely and relocate within 3 months. Can the employee agree (contractually/verbally), then proceed to work online for the first 3 months and serve a notice period? Does he have to fulfill the conditions?

2. Would the employee be sinful for not intending to relocate before he enters into such an agreement or for going back on a promise? Does that affect the income received for work done? Also, is such a condition valid and isn't the employee entitled to a salary for the period he has worked?
