Income of a person who uses pictures of animate objects in his presentations

Q: My father works in an office where his work is to maintain proper supply of electricity, making and maintaining electrical plants and supervising others who do the above works. Part of his job is to inform his seniors about new plans and progress of the plans. For this purpose he uses digital slides for presentations.

I noticed that the slides that he makes, he uses pictures of animate object. It could be a requirement from the office that he must use those. Sometimes others make these type of slides and he uses them. And sometimes he makes these slides and passes it to others. I want to know, does it make his income haraam?

Using one's work computer for personal work if one has free time

Q: I am a government employee. I work on the computer. Often, there is little work and most of the time we are free. My questions are:

1. Can I use the Govt. computer and internet for further learning advanced technologies?

2. Can I use it for listening to Islamic lectures?

3. Can I use it for work with some other companies as most the time I have no work to do?

Furthermore, the internet service is free and does not incur extra charges.

Working for an insurance company

Q: I am working in a general insurance company as a loss adjuster which means that I assess loss of vehicle at the time of claim. Is it halaal or haram for me to work in a general insurance? As per my opinion, I am not in direct sales but I am doing the work which removes gharar from it as I assess the loss and do not allow additions or reductions as per terms. Also, I heard that if a company is owned by a Hindu, we can work in that insurance company.
