Q: I came to know that wearing half sleeves shirt while performing Salaah is Maqrooh. I want ask that I go for squash daily from asr to maghrib so I wear half sleeves so I can play and it is very difficult to first pray in full sleeves than go back home and prepare for Squash. I also want to know that as squash makes you sweat, so can I pray in sweaty shirts as well as half sleeves?
Q: There is a Muslim guy who owns a bottle store and a club. Recently he has opened a jamaat khana as well. What would be the status of our Salaah if we read at this particular venue. Should we read at this jamaat khana or should we rather read jamaat at our flat.
Q: If a jamaat khana is on its own property, with the property being on a 'educational trust' etc with trustees etc, like how a normal masjid would be, all salaah etc But due to the zoning not yet being passed through the municipality as a religious site, it has not yet been declared a masjid. If the permission is granted, immediately it would be a masjid. My question is, is salaah in this jamaat khana inferior to that performed in a masjid 5 minutes away?
Q: Does the same rules that apply to a Musjid, apply to a jamaat khana? e.g. sleeping, talking, eating, etc.
Q: From what age can a child be brought to the Musjid? Should his dress code be with a hat and long sleeves?
Q: Is it permisible to recite iqamah in a second jamaat performed in a masjid, the type of masjid is at a tourist place and has no particular Imam. (Note the earlier jamaat was completed and we reached late and performed the second jamaat in the particular masjid).
Q: It is said that a small mosque is less than 40 dhira. What would this measure in square meters?
Q: I want to ask about playing football outside the mosque and hitting the football on mosque walls, is this allowed and can you relate me an authentic hadeeth or Quranic verse?
Q: The en-dowers of a waqf property in situated in South Africa are all deceased. Their original intention was that the rental proceeds from the waqf property should be given to a specific madrassa in India. The current trustees have no contact with the responsible individuals in India and as a result the funds are collecting in a bank account in South Africa. A local SA musjid trust has approached these trustees to purchase that waqf property for the purposes of establishing a much needed madarassa.
1)Can the trustees sell this property to the local musjid trust.
2)Can they grant the local musjid trust the use of the property at no charge.
