Irregular bleeding after a miscarriage

Q: Alhamdulillah, we have a 2 year old child. My wife had a Miscarriage almost 10 months back, now she is facing menses day problem so need your kind advise for Ramadan fasting.

  1. Two months back, she found little spot of dirty water (or may be blood) for first 5-6 days and then she faced full menses for another 5-6 days and then again little spot of dirty water for 5-6 days so the total duration was 15-17 days. She wasn’t performing any sort of religious obligation in that duration.
  2. Now the same case is going to start, she is finding little spot of dirty water for last 2 days, please let us know if she observe fasting if not then when she can get started.

Bleeding after a miscarriage

Q: I was 11 and half weeks pregnant and started brownish spotting. I went to the gynae who couldn't find a heartbeat (they refer to it as a missed miscarriage as I had no symptoms of a miscarriage). Few hours later I had a heavy flow and the next morning went in for a d&c (scraping of the womb) please advise if this is istihaaza?

Bleeding after taking a pill to stop one's period in Ramadhaan

Q: I would like to know if a women is on the pill and her period is due on a monday, if she bleeds a little on the Thursday before and she knows it's not her period (bleeds just for a few hours) must she break her fast and stop reading namaaz? And if a women takes the pill to stop her bleeding during Ramadhaan and she spots a little must she break her fast?

Continuous bleeding

Q: I am probably in the state of istihaazah but I am bleeding everyday continously for the past 2 months. With Ramadaan coming up I have many questions. Some days my flow is much heavier and some days its just a little, how does this affect my fasts? Please clarify the rules for salaah and reading Quraan as well?

Iddat period after divorce

Q: I have been divorced for 7 years. The talaq was issued by my then husband in writing but it was at my request. I was married for 10 years and we have a daughter. In the time of my marriage he never supported me financially nor spent time with us as he was married and I accepted that he give his first wife more time. After few years into our marriage, his first wife asked for talaq. He was with me for 6 months when I discovered some indiscretions and he said he was involved with another woman. I urged him to get married and that I would accept it 100% but he needed to be fair from the start so that she could understand as she reverted before they married. He continued to not spend time with us at all and never provided financially. His new wife according to him was insisting that he had to choose as she cannot accept him remaining married to me. He chose her but only gave me the Talaq upon my request. I have it in writing.  Thereafter we had meetings with both sets of parents who were made aware that I was observing my iddah period. They could not influence the decision and respected and accepted it. I informed my then husband the date after every menstrual cycle until my third clean period. after which I ended my iddah period.

I want to remarry Insha Allah and want assurance that the correct procedure was followed.
