Zikr & Dua

Q: Did our prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) take part in zikr before praying Salaatul Janaazah? 

Q: When one makes zikr, you are told that it is the quality that matters not the quantity. I have decided to read a million durood shareef. I am going to read in haste to achieve my goal. Is this advisable or should I just read a little and not worry about numbers.

Q: Is this dua correct: اللهم ايدني بالروح القدس?

What are the benefits of asking Allah for the holy spirit?

Q: If the husband tells his wife, “Do not ask this from Allah Ta'ala in dua.” But the wife really wants to ask that from Allah Ta'ala. If she makes the dua, will she be sinning? It is a halal dua.

Q: If a man doesn't pray 5 times a day but prays Tahajjud Salaah, will his dua be accepted by Allah?

Q: What can I do when I want to do ibaadah? Like, what should I recite? (Duas, verses of the Quraan Majeed, etc.).

Q: Is there any surah/dua that can be recited for protection from all haraam deeds, words and thoughts? I feel like I am insane since I get bad thoughts which I am not supposed to think about.

Q: The durood on a Friday after Asr, remaining in a sitting position for the reward for 80 years. If I perform Asr Salah at home and recite the same on a Friday after fardh Asr Salah, does the same reward apply?

Q: Is it permissible to recite more than the allowed number of zikr? Example, if I recite 35 SubhaanAllah instead of 33 by mistake or any other such reason. Is it permissible or am I sinful for this?

Q: What are the duas that should be read when:

(a) Getting up from sleep.

(b) Entering the toilet and coming out from the toilet.

And should the duas be read audibly to one self or simply read silently in the mind?
