The law of shaving or trimming the beard in the Shaafi'ee Mazhab

Q: Mufti Saheb, I heard that according to the Hanafi, Maaliki and Hambali mazhabs, it is not permissible for a male to shave his beard or to trim it shorter than a fist length. However, according to the Shaafi’ee mazhab, shaving or trimming the beard is only makrooh tanzeehi. Hence, if a person shaves or trims his beard, it will merely be disliked and he will not become sinful. Is this the correct view of the Shaafi’ee Mazhab - that they regard shaving and trimming the beard to be makrooh tanzeehi?

Two length haircut

Q: There is a hadith where Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) prohibited qaza haircut, so my question is I do haircut by making hair shorter at sides and longer on the top. I don't do too much short but keep less hair on the sides and longer on the top. Does it come under qaza and prohibited for me?
