Reading inappropriate literature

Q: When I read something inappropriate (nothing like nudity, but text), something that a Muslim should not laugh at, I involuntarily have smirks? I have seized my jaw in the past (like tightened it) to stop myself as well as lightly biting my gums. Genuinely I don't want to laugh or smile, but frown if anything. So what do you think?

A: If the literature creates doubts or wrong feelings and thoughts in your mind, then it is best for you to refrain from reading such literature.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
