Q: I have a question to ask. My father was called back to Allah two years ago this same day (Gregorian calendar). I have been praying extra two rakaat nafil for my father in every prayer I pray (I am still struggling to make myself a 5 times namaazi). I have been questioning myself what deed is better in Allah's view:

1. Fasting (once or twice a month considering my hectic work schedule)

2. Sadqa to my local Madrasa (my present financial situation is not very healthy but Insha Allah it will get better) and requesting them to recite a Quran on my father's name or

3. Myself finish reciting one Qur'an spanning a few months and Isaale-sawaab the same to my father. Requesting for your guidance.

A: All are good works and inventions.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
