Dividing the hair of a woman into two parts for kafn

Q: Do we have any authentic reference concerning the hair of the woman should be divided into two parts and put on top of the qamees? Whereas in Bukhari and Muslim Shareef (in the waqeea of Umme Atiyyah) it is mentioned that the hair was divided into three parts.
A: According to us, both are permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
وأما الكلام في جعل شعر الأنثى ضفيرتين كما قال به فقهاءنا أو ثلالة ضفائر كما فعلت الصحابيات في هذه القصة وكذلك إلقاءه خلفها كما في هذا الحديث (أي عند البخاري) أو جعله على الصدر كما قال به الفقهاء فالأظهر أن هذا تابع لعادة الحياة ولعل الرسم كان في ذلك العصر كذلك، فاختير لها ذلك، لا لكون ذلك دينا، والأمر واسع.
