Fidyah for missed salaah

Q: My father was sick for two months and then passed away. He offered some prayers during that time. Please tell me about fidiya for his prayers.
A: If he had made a bequest that fidyah should be paid for his missed namaaz then the fidyah will be paid from one third of his estate. The amount for each namaaz is the equivalent of sadaqatul fitr.
