Blocking people who incite trouble on social media

Q: In a Hadith, our Nabi (SallAllahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam) forbade it for Muslims to hate each other and we cannot boycott one another for more than 3 days.

My question is that on social media, some people are intent on bullying others. Would it be permissible to block people whose behaviour is harmful to a person, even if the opposite person is Muslim?

A: Shariah teaches us to avoid people who cause fitnah and who incite trouble. Hence, it is permissible to block such people from contacting you.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
