Performing Asr Salaah without performing Zuhr Salaah

Q: If someone forgets to pray Zuhr Salaah and he now prays Asr Salaah before he remembers that he had not prayed Zuhr Salaah, what should he do?
A: If the person is a saahib-e-tarteeb, then since he had forgotten that he had missed his Zuhr Salaah and performed the Asr Salaah, the Asr Salaah will take place and he will only have to make qadha of the Zuhr Salaah which he missed.
If he is not a saahib-e-tarteeb, then whether he had forgotten that he missed his Zuhr Salaah or he had remembered when performing the Asr Salaah, in both cases the Asr Salaah will take place and he will only have to make qadha of the Zuhr Salaah which he missed.
