Committing zina and then aborting the child
Q: I fell in love with a woman, but my family forbade me to marry her because she was a slave. After 3 months, we had an abortion and put the child/fetus in the toilet. What is the punishment for doing this in Islam?
A: Getting involved in this haraam relationship, committing zina and then aborting the child are major sins in Islam. You should immediately move away from this woman, sincerely repent to Allah Ta'ala for committing these grave sins and make a firm resolve that you will never repeat them in the future. Similarly, you should give a substantial amount of wealth in charity in atonement for what you have done. If you are sincere in your repentance, then Allah Ta'ala will forgive you.
