Informing a person that one used to listen to music with that it is haraam

Q: I used to hear a song which had shirk and sing it publically. Now I repented but I have a doubt that when I sang it publically, whether the person beside me heard it and started singing it or maybe he didn't do it. I dont know if he did or did not, will it be shirk?

A: Inform the person who was present that the music that you were listening to and singing was haraam and that you have made sincere taubah from this sin. Hence, they should also not listen to music.
