Designing invitation cards to parties
Q: I work as a designer. Sometimes, I am asked to design an invitation card for a beach party, birthday party, party at a club, etc. Can I accept these jobs?
A: You should refrain from designing such invitation cards as this is in total conflict with the Islamic teachings. Beach parties, birthday parties, club parties, etc. are all kuffaar customs and lead to a host of impermissible and immoral activities. It is not permissible for a believer to support and promote these kuffaar practices and customs.

عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم (سنن أبي داود، الرقم: 4033)
من تشبه بقوم أي من شبه نفسه بالكفار مثلا في اللباس وغيره أو بالفساق أو الفجار أو بأهل التصوف والصلحاء الأبرار فهو منهم أي في الإثم والخير (مرقاة المفاتيح 4/431)
