Salaah

Q:

1) If a person's mother calls her whilst she is reading Salaah , and she is not sure if it's urgent or not, does she have to break her Salaah? Is there a difference if it's fardh or sunnat salaah?

2) If a person's husband is stuck outside the house because the door is locked with the key in and a lady is performing her Salaah, and the husband needs to come in then get farigh and proceed to musjid, should she break her Salaah. Again is there a difference if it's faraaid or Sunnats?

Q: While performing salaah, I am overcome by stray thoughts. When I realise that I am in salaah, I divert my mind from these thoughts and try to concentrate. How can I rectify this problem?

Q: I know that it is preferable to perform Sunnats and Nawaafil of Maghrib, Esha etc at home but if that relative's home has pictures of animate objects in the form of children's books & toys, is it then better to perform the Sunnats and Nawaafil in the Masjid as my understanding is no angel apart from Malikul Maut enters that house?

Q: If a person does other good deeds but he doesn't pray his five time Salaah, will his other good deeds be counted and accepted?

Q: I was wondering if my Salaah is invalidated if I make sounds during the Salaah when going down into sajda as a result of feeling a pain in my foot?

Q: Is it permissible for a mother and son to perform Salaah together in Jamaat? If so, where should the mother stand and is it necessary for the mother to give the iqaamah?

Q: Should the Imaam turn towards his right or left facing the muqtadis for making duaa only for Fajr and Asr Salaah?

Q: If in salah on my own, I am reciting out loud and I recite bismillah out loud, and half way through it I stop, and re-recite it silently, is my salah invalidated? Also, is it invalidated if I recite it out loud and complete the recitation of it out loud only to re-recite it silently? I also have the same question but instead of Bismillah, I recite ameen out loud. Does reciting ameen out loud invalidate the prayer? also, if it does, would rectifying the ameen out loud by reciting it again straight after silently, cause the prayer to be valid again? Another question I have is that during the salah, I said some of the takbeers out loud and others including possibly 'Sami Allahu liman hamida' silently. Would this inconsistency render my salah invalid?

Q: If you are in doubt or feel that you have mispronounced parts of the quran during salah unintentionally, should you readdress this during the salah and re-recite the ayah you felt you may have made a mistake in, or should you carry on reciting?

Q: I was wondering if sajda sahw is necessary when one enters into jalsa and before putting his hands on his thighs, begins saying 'allahuma aghfirlee wa arhamnee', putting them on his hands during the recitation of the dua. Also, if the back is not completely straight during rukoo, then is the salah invalidated?
