Second Jamaat in the sahen area of the Musjid

Q: It is becoming quite common nowadays in many Musjids that late comers make their own jamaat in the sahen area of the Musjid. Kindly explain in detail the shar'ee ruling regarding this?

Going into ruku' thinking that the Imaam made takbeer

Q: While praying Salaah in Jamat (congregation) a person was standing far from the Imam and also there were no speakers. At one point the person thought that Imam Saheb said Allahu Akbar, and so he was going to ruku. As he was doing so he found that the rest of the muqtatis were still standing (the person in concern heard it wrong) so he again stood up. Now my question is that is the Salaah of the person, in concern, valid or should he repeat his Salaah?

Certain things I heard when attending Hajj classes

Q: I recently heard from a Moulana whose name I will not mention and he does Hajj classes that when you are flying to Mecca for Hajj then:

  1. In the Plane you can sit in your seat a read your namaaz as you are flying North and facing Qibla! Can this be done?
  2. When making wudhu in the plane you can make massah over your woollen socks! Can this be done?
  3. If you make wudhu in your room and then go to the Harem and you then break wind or go toilet your wudhu does not break due to the massive amounts of people in the Harem and it would be highly inconvenient to go and try to make wudhu again in the Harem! Is this a correct statement?

Making jamaat with my wife at home

Q: If for any fardh salaah, I performed it at home but made jamaat with my wife. Will my waajib obligation of jamaat namaaz be fulfilled even though the musjid was nearby?

How many rakaats of nafl can a person pray with one salam?

Q: Is there a limit of how many rakaats of nafl a person can pray with one salam example is it permissible to pray 12 rakaats of nafl with one salam?

Performing two rakaats with the intention of tahajjud prayer after Esha Salaah

Q: A person who prays two rakaats with the intention of tahajjud prayer after Isha salat, will he get reward of praying tahajjud?

Reciting aloud in the Sunnats and Nawaafils of the night

Q: I am currently becoming hafiz at the age of almost 40 (please make dua that I reach completion). I practice what I have learnt during the day by reciting it in namaz and in nawafils. After Esha I come home from the masjid and I recite quietly in the sunnats of Esha and loudly in witr namaz and in nawafils thereafter. I do not pray loud in nawafils during the day because I have been told that you can't recite aloud in the sunnats of (say for eg. Esha, maghrib) and that you can't pray loud in nawafil during the day (only at night), is this true?

I find it so much easier and more helpful if I read aloud, I find that reading aloud helps me retain what I have memorised much better. For the sake of my purpose (hifz-e-quran) would it be ok for me to recite aloud in sunnats of maghrib/Esha, etc and in Ishraaq and chast namaz in the privacy of my own home (without disturbing anyone)?

Sajdah-e-Sahw

Q: Is the sajdah sahw only waajib in those instances when it is allowed to pray? For example if one is praying Fajr and after the salaam the sun does rise, does he need to do sajdah sahw or his he absolved ? If not does he later need to repeat the Fajr (because he did not do sajdah sahw)?

If one praying Asr and after he makes salaam the redness of the horizon is visible, does he need to do sajdah sahw or is he absolved ? If not does he later need to repeat the Asr ?

Leaving out durood sharif and the dua in the last rakaat

Q: Is one's namaz valid if we don't read durood sharif and the dua in the last rakaat?

Will the word ha meem or yaseen suffice for Qiraat in Salaah
