Q: In beheshti zewar it is mentioned that the when a person is using a sutra and performing salaah, it should be placed slightly to the right or left side and not directly in front of him. Please can mufti saheb explain the reason for this?

Q: I have received a box of chocolates from my neighbour and it was conveyed with Merry Christmas greetings on it. Is it permissible to eat the chocolates or not? What will be the ruling in the case where I receive a gift of hot cross buns or a christmas tree? Can I accept it and eat the hot cross buns?
