Buying wheelchairs for a hospital with zakaat money

Q: Can Zakaat be discharged to buy wheel chairs and distribute in the hospital so disabled people can use those wheelchairs?

A: No, zakaat has to be given to a poor Muslim who is a recipient of zakaat.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
