Q: Some Bareilwi's say that since the worlds were created from the Rooh Mubaarak of Rasulullah (sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is everywhere. Is this argument/analogy of theirs correct or not? And what is the answer/explanation?
A: This belief is incorrect. Everything in the universe was not created from the rooh of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). The one who believes that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam) is like Allah Ta'ala in the attribute of haazir naazir (omnipresent) i.e. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is present everywhere at all times and has knowledge of everything, then since this attribute is exclusive to Allah Ta'ala, such a person has committed shirk in the siffaat (attributes) of Allah Ta'ala and comes out of the pale of Islam. Some people hold the belief that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam) is present at the time the maulood takes place. Though this cannot be substantiated and supported by any proof, however this will not cause a person to come out of the pale of Islam.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
