Q: I have some questions regarding the correct Hanafi aqeedah:
1. Is Allah Ta'ala above his arsh?
2. Is the arsh, in the heavens or above the heavens?
3. Is Allah being above his arsh the salafi opinion? If not, what is their opinion so that I don't get confused?
A:
1. The correct aqeedah is that Allah Ta`ala is not confined and restricted to space or time.
2. The arsh is above the seventh heaven.
3. If by salafi you refer to the righteous Imaams, Ulama and the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum) then this was not the aqeedah of the righteous imaams and Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum).
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
