Good deeds getting affected if one misses salaah

Q: 

1. Do your good deeds get accepted if you don't pray salah? 

3. If you believe praying salah is obligatory but you still don't pray, are you still a believer?.

A: 

1. Forgoing salaah is a major sin. Through this major sin one's good deeds will be affected. 

2. You will still remain a believer, however you will be committing a major sin through forgoing the salaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
