Mahrams in a foster family after nikaah

Q:

1. A woman has a foster family. Are her husband and children Mahaarim to the foster mother, etc.?

2. I've heard that if a woman takes lactation supplements and breastfeeds a child, that child will not be said as the woman's husband's foster child, will the child be Mahram to the woman's children and parents?

A:

1. Her children will be mahaarim of her foster mother, but her husband will not be a mahram of her foster mother.

2. Yes, this is correct. However, her foster child will be a mahram for her children and parents.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
