Q: I have this amazing opportunity to marry a Muslimah with whose deen and understanding, I am satisfied. However, there are two things which have turned this into a challenging task. 1. In sha'Allah this would be her second marriage 2. She's older than me by 2 years. How do I go about convincing my parents to move ahead with this proposal?
A: If you have a genuine need explain to them that you have a genuine need.
