Q:

1. If you do good deeds like fasting, salah, etc. but at the same time you have a business which sells alcohol or where you work sells alcohol, would Allah accept your good deeds like fasting, salah, etc?

2. Also, is selling alcohol the same as drinking it?

3. I heard those who drink alcohol in the dunya (world) wouldn't drink wine in Jannah, does that apply to people who don't drink it but sell alcohol?

Q: Did the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) say that if you drink from a bottle or a container, you will get poor. e.g. If I am the only one going to be drinking from a 2 liter bottle and no one is going to be drinking after me, is this a hadith?

Q: Is it forbidden to drink water without eating or drinking anything before it in the morning?

Q: What is the sunnah way of holding the glass while drinking water-

a) With three fingers of the right hand

b) All five fingers of the right hand

Q: With regards to sitting whilst eating or drinking, does this only apply to full meals, or even when one is drinking a few sips of water or fruit etc. I was in the habit of always sitting even if drinking a little bit of water, but someone told me that I don't need to sit because it's not a meal. Please clarify.

ومنها ما أخرجه الحاكم من حديث عائشة بسند قوي بلفظ " نهى أن يشرب من في السقاء لأن ذلك ينتنه " وهذا يقتضي أن يكون النهي خاصا بمن يشرب فيتنفس داخل الإناء أو باشر بفمه باطن السقاء ، أما من صب من القربة داخل فمه من غير مماسة فلا ، ومنها أن الذي يشرب من فم السقاء قد يغلبه الماء فينصب منه أكثر من حاجته فلا يأمن أن يشرق به أو تبتل ثيابه ، قال ابن العربي : وواحدة من الثلاثة تكفي في ثبوت الكراهة ، وبمجموعها تقوى الكراهة جدا فتح الباري
