1. Is it haraam to sell a lunchbox or plastic packets that have a picture of a cartoon character on them?

2. Is the income from this haraam?

3. If so, and I have already sold them, what should I do?

Q: I am really confused on a point. People in our society react differently to the issue of cartoons of Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Some do strikes (which many a times become violent), others show no practical response, although they feel hurt. Please respond/guide me in light of sunnah with reference to seerah what is the methodology or reaction one should adopt against blasphemous acts. 

Q: Is drawing of animate (Japanese style cartoons) also haram? I have only one skill and that is drawing. What should I do? Did Allah give me this skill for nothing? I'm so confused about my future.

Q: I am a web developer and an IT professional. While developing any website, I sometimes have to add videos, pictures, cartoons, movies, music and many more related things. What should I do in such situations?
