Woman leaving her place of i'tikaaf to wash her hands

Q: When sitting in i'tikaaf, is it permissible for a female to leave her designated room to wash her hands for eating?

A: No. Arrangements should be made for her to wash her hands in her designated i'itikaaf area.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
