To which people does the word ummah refer

Q: How does one understand who the Ummah of Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) is? Are everyone since his prophethood of this Ummah? Are the Jews, Christians, Muslims and Non-believers included in his ummah?

A: Yes, all those who existed from the time of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) are his ummah.
