Q: I have one queation. A person did istikhara for me for marriage. He doesnt know me and I dont know him as well. My friend asked him to do istikhara for me. He is a saint. He told my friend that he had a dream. He saw a girl and her mother crying in the dream. What does that mean?
A: Until you are not sure about the Deen, akhlaaq, mannerisms of the boy, then do not accept the proposal.

Q: He is so much into deen. Its been like two years I know him. But I just want to confirm about the dream. Was it positive or not?
A: We advise that you do not rely entirely on the dream as it is possible that at times a dream could be influenced by feelings and thoughts or by the influence of Shaitaan. Instead before entering into nikaah enquiries should be made regarding the boy and the family of the boy. Similarly one should look at the piety, behaviour, conduct and mannerisms of the boy before entering into nikaah.
