Q: A couple of years ago, I messed my sisters shoe with some impurities and I just wiped it off. She uses that shoe for wudhu. Now later in my life I'm regretting not telling her at the time/washing the impurities off. Since she puts her wet foot in the shoe, her foot will become dirty. She doesn't know anything about this. Are all her Salaahs accepted? Will I be responsible for all her Salaahs not being accepted and will I have to pay her for all those Salaahs in the Aakhira? I don't know whether she still uses that shoe. I'm very remorseful and worried about this. What should I do?
A: If through wiping, all the traces of impurity were removed, then it is paak.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Q: The impurities messed was liquid form and I have just wiped it off with a tissue. Since it was liquid impurities, after wiping it, the shoe was still damp from the impurities (because it was liquid). Was the shoe still impure? My sister uses it for wudhu and puts her wet foot in the shoe. This was few years ago. Did her feet also get impure and all her salaahs not accepted? She no longer uses that shoe.
A: In such a situation the shoe should have been washed.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Q: About messing my sisters shoes with impurities and wiping it off but it was still damp. The shoe wasn't washed. She used it for wudhu. Was all her salaahs not accepted? Did her wet feet transfer impurities to her prayer mat as well? This was years back and she no longer uses the shoe. She doesn't know about this. What should I do?
A: As a precaution she should repeat the salaah of that day.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
