Removing a plant from the grave

Q: I recently read on one of the answers that it is incorrect to plant trees on the grave. Is it permissible then to remove these plants from the grave?

A: If one had planted a plant on the grave, then he should remove it.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
