Making dua before leaving the graveyard

Q: It is a family practice to always make dua for all the deceased before leaving the graveyard. Is this according to the Sunnah and is this permissible?

A: Making dua at the grave is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
