Q: Does one diagnosed with paranoid/schizophrenia and taking medication (injections and tablets) for it have to pray and fast or is he/she labelled as not of sound mind/insane?
A: If he can fast and pray then he must do so.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
