Reading Surah Faatihah in the third and fourth rakaat of fardh salaah

Q: Is it compulsory to recite Surah Fatihah in the third and fourth rakat of farz salaat. I have read somewhere that its not compulsory when reading salaat individually without jamaat.

A: No.
