Slaughtering a sheep whose tail is cut

Q: Is it permissible to slaughter a sheep whose tail is cut. They say it was cut due to medical reasons.

A: If the entire tail is cut, it will not suffice for qurbaani.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
