Playing cricket as a profession

Q: Is money earned by playing cricket halaal?

A: Playing cricket is not recognised in Shariah as a valid profession. Hence, the money earned through playing cricket or through playing any other sport is not halaal.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
