Preventing a cat from passing in front of one while performing salaah

Q: Should I prevent my pet cat passing in front of me while I am performing salaah?

A: If you are able to prevent the cat from entering the area where you perform salaah, it will be better.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
